On-Trend Style Tips: Prepare Your Closet For The Fall Season

Fall is here, and so are some great style tips.

When entering a new season, it is important to have fashionable pieces in your closet. Otherwise, you’ll be at a loss when it comes to putting together great looks.

For the upcoming season, cozy pieces, including ultra-soft layering pieces and bold, luxe prints, have taken center stage, and are both fashionable and comfortable (together at last!).

On-Trend Style Tips

Sweaters

Grab as many plush, oversized sweaters as you can handle. The idea for this trend is to feel like you are wrapped up in a warm blanket. Textures like cashmere, knit, or cotton-wool will keep you snuggly soft and stylish, as well.

Knits

Knits are the perfect accessory for your oversized sweater. Whether it be a ski hat, scarf or a pair of gloves, knits will keep you warm and add a fun touch to any outfit — especially if you branch out with a fun print or bold shade, such as plum, cobalt, or grey.

Wild Style

Animal-prints are really hot for fall. Although we wouldn’t exactly recommend an oversized, leopard-print sweater (that might shock your system — or the system of those in your presence), adding a touch of print to your outfit is a great way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe. Think purses, shoes, scarves and belts!

Soft Touch

Keeping with the cozy trend, try a super-soft vest or a floral sundress. While florals may have once screamed, “Summer,” they are actually a great transitional piece for fall — so don’t be afraid of them! They also make for a great layering piece.

Cozy Scents

Once your outfit is complete, pair it with a great, warm scent. Vanilla, apple and pumpkin are all great seasonal scents, which will have you feeling and smelling like fall.
