A Very MAC FOTD

When I got home from work today and saw that my Smashbox Photofinish Hydrating Primer had arrived, I knew I wanted to test it out to see how it would work with my newest foundation, Chanel Perfection Lumiere. I decided that since I have this fancy new camera, haven't blogged in forever, and haven't gotten to do any fancy makeup looks lately, I'd do it up nice and take some photos for you all!


I didn't really plan out this look, I pretty much just reached for all of the things I've been loving lately and then added some dramatic liner. It just so happened that most of the products I reached for were MAC!

FACE:

  • Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer
  • Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Primer
  • Chanel Perfection Lumiere in 22 Beige Rose
  • Revlon ColorStay Blemish Concealer in Light
  • MAC Fix+


CHEEKS:

  • MAC Blush in Harmony (contour)
  • MAC MSF in Redhead (blush)
  • MAC MSF in Lightscapade (highlight)
  • Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Coffee Cake (dabbed on the apples of the cheeks and blended out)
Oops! Pardon my messy liner. I was having an argument with my Fluidline!
EYES:

  • MAC Paint Pot in Painterly (primer)
  • MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Cloudy Afternoon (all over lid)
  • MAC Mystery (blended into crease)
  • MAC Shroom (browbone and inner third of upper and lower lash line)
  • MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating (waterline and blended into lower lash line)
  • MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
  • Guerlain Noir G Mascara

LIPS:
  • MAC Plushglass in Fashion Fanatic (milky pale pink, but it looks peach on my lips sometimes!)


Unnecessary glamour shot. I REALLLLLLLLLY missed taking pictures of myself! xD

  5. @Sarah S. Aww thank you! I'm going to have to come clean about my bare skin eventually when I do a foundation review post, but for now I'm going to let you all think it's perfect! xD I'm blessed to have very little acne, but I have a lot of redness that gets covered up by gobs of foundation!

    @Jessica Oh stop! I was so mad that my eyeliner wasn't cooperating because yours always looks so perfect! I'm sure this look would be gorgeous on you. I would love to see it! I am SOOOOO happy to be back too! =D

    @kellyyes Thank you! Redhead is so gorgeous, I haven't been able to reach for anything else since I got it! My camera is brand new and I've never had a DSLR before, so there's a LOT I have to learn still, but I'm really happy with how my photos are turning out so far. MUCH better than my camera phone for sure! ;)
