FOTD: Urban Decay Roller Girl Palette

I did this FOTD a couple of weeks ago for my grandpa’s birthday dinner and I have no idea why I never posted it. I just happened to come across the photos for it and decided to pop it up quickly for you. =)

I could have easily done a look with Verve, Suspect, and Darkhorse but that would have been so boring. I know when I posted swatches of the Roller Girl palette a lot of you said that you loved the look of Woodstock but weren’t sure you could wear it. This was my attempt to make it wearable. I also wanted to incorporate the Lip Junkie gloss that came with the palette. I didn’t use the included 24/7 liner in Whiskey because Urban Decay’s liners have never worked for me. I apologize but I can’t remember what I used for my foundation since this was so long ago.

Urban Decay Roller Girl palette (Woodstock, Suspect, and Verve eyeshadows)
MAC Fluidline liner in Blacktrack
Diorshow Maximizer lash primer
Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion mascara
Urban Decay Buck on brows
MAC Pink Power MSF
(bronzer to contour, blush on cheeks, and highlighter to highlight)
Urban Decay Lip Junkie gloss in Crush (included with the Roller Girl palette)
I applied Suspect (pale gold) to the lid and blended it up into the crease. I used Verve (silvery champagne) to the inner corner and on the brow bone. I applied Woodstock in the crease for a subtle pop of color.

I really like how this turned out, especially with my black outfit. Fun and unexpected, but not crazy or costumey. Looking at my blog you’ll probably notice that bright pink is my favorite color, so as you can imagine I loved wearing it in a new way.

How do you feel about pink eyeshadow? Too much or super fun?
